Two men are about to battle it out at the world chess championships but their greatest contest is for the love of a woman. Amidst political intrigue and international conspiracies, the two men fight to win the heart of 'Florence' in a romantic triangle that mirrors the heightened passions of 'the cold war'. CHESS is all set to an explosive score, music by ABBA and lyrics by Tim Rice. Some recognisable songs are: 'I Know Him So Well', 'Anthem' and 'One Night In Bangkok'. This Bonkers murder mystery musical farce includes a mild-mannered English shoe clerk, a dead croupier, a near-sighted jilted mistress with her hen-pecked brother and several hundred dogs!! The Shoe clerk (Harry Witherspoon) will inherit six million dollars if he can successfully take his uncle on holiday to Monte Carlo, only problem is, his uncle is dead!! If he fails to pull it off, the money he's promised will go to the Universal Dogs Home of Brooklyn - and if there is one thing in life that Harry hates, it's dogs!
