For 'on stage' membership, we ask for a brief membership audition,
If your audition is successful there is an annual membership fee of 45 GBP

No further auditions are required to play amongst the chorus,
Though please note, on rare occasions we will audition for chorus members for smaller productions.

All principal roles are cast after a seperate audition for each production.
All information regarding casting & auditioning for shows you will find on the 'about us' page.
Only paid up members of the society can audition for principal roles.

LADIES; we currently have a waiting list for membership but if you are interested, please email us and we will let you know
what the current state of the list is.

The annual membership fee for off stage members is 15 GBP

If you are interested in becoming an 'on' or 'off stage' member of SMAOS please email our members secretary.

If you wish to express an interest in directing / producing, musical directing or producing choreography for us,
please detail your relevant experience and email the exec committee

*Rehearsals*
...are held at the East Didsbury Methodist Church Hall, Parrswood Road, East Didsbury, M20 5QQ.
This is near the 42, 142 and 50 bus routes & East Didsbury Train Station.

Rehearsals come to a close at 10pm on weekdays and 5pm / 5:30pm on Sundays

NB: We ONLY rehearse on Sunday's one month prior to performance.
Auditions for productions usualy take place on a Sunday afternoon.
