SOUTH MANCHESTER AOS PRESENT

THE BOY FRIEND

A zany, spoof musical comedy of the 1920's written by Sale's very own Sandy Wilson.
The Boy Friend has had numorous successful revivals on the west end and on broadway
as well as being responsable for making a star of the musical theatre legend: Dame Julie Andrews.

Set on the French Riviera we gradually see the perfect young ladies of Madame
Dubonnets finishing school pair off with their charming suitors in time for the carnival ball...
...all except Polly who sadly doesn't have a Boyfriend, until (in true musical theatre fashion) the
local delivery boy sweeps her off her feet and promises to take her to the ball,
but will he turn up??

Featuring the timeless classic songs: 'I Could Be Happy With You', 'Won't You Charleston With Me?',
'Nicer In Nice' and 'It's Never Too Late To Fall In Love'
